Karratha Health Campus
Category: Infrastructure The Karratha Health Campus is a $207 million dollar project located in the heart of Karratha which will bring together a variety of health services. The facility will provide 40 hospital beds, an emergency department, ambulatory care centre, surgical centre, medical imaging and maternity wing. The health campus will support existing health facilities throughout the Pilbara with a helipad making the facility accessible from remote communities and mining projects.

New Museum Project

Stadium Rail Project

This $100 million project will see the construction of a station and associated rail infrastructure. It is part of a $358 million package for public transport infrastructure at the site and will enable up to 28,000 passengers to depart the new stadium within an hour of an event.

Gorgon Stage 2

GS2 is an upgrade to the Gorgon Projects existing subsea petroleum facilities. Jansz-Io Compression

Persephone Project
Category: Resources The Persephone Project will be tied back to the North Rankin Complex to supplement production. The Persephone Field is located in approximately 126m of water, off the eastern flank of the North Rankin Horst approximately 6.5km NE of the North Rankin Complex and 135km NNW of Karratha. The Persephone Field was discovered by the Persephone-1 well in December 2006 and lies in petroleum production licence WA-1-L.

Wheatstone LNG Project

Wheatstone is a Chevron operated natural gas field about 200 kilometres north of Onslow in Western Australia. Its gas fields in the Carnarvon Basin will form the foundation for the Wheatstone Project.
Wheatstone will bring enormous economic benefits to Australia:
The project will create about 6,500 direct and indirect jobs at the construction peak.
Wheatstone will also create about $17 billion in local content spending over the project's life.
