Overview
ProjectConnect is an online service designed to list project opportunities and to connect Australian businesses together to find industry suppliers or identify new business opportunities.
ProjectConnect allows businesses of all sizes to become involved in major project work, from prime contractors to small subcontractors. By publishing contact details of companies that have been awarded work on projects, we enable all businesses to build new relationships and networks throughout industry.
ProjectConnect is free, so there is no charge for businesses to create a company profile, register interest in project opportunities and access contact information of contract winners. If you want access to some advanced tools to make your life easier, there is a subscription charge to be paid. However, all information on the system is free of charge.

Create a Company Profile
Fill in one form to create a company profile. It is free and your account is active immediately.

Step 2
Project contractors list opportunities
Project contractors create project listing pages on ProjectConnect (under the Project Opportunities section). The project listing pages contains overview and background information about the project. The project is structured into multiple sub-projects where opportunities will be listed.
When an opportunity package is listed, it will be open for registration at the Full Package level for a predetermined period and at the Component of Package level indefinitely.

Registering your interest

Full Package
This is for suppliers that have demonstrated in-house capacity to provide the complete item and want to be considered for the full tender.
Simply tick the box before the closing date.
At the closing date, all expressions of interest will be researched and you should be contacted to provide further details of your capabilities, local content and experience.
The project will select those suppliers that meet their criteria to take part in a formal tender. From this point until the package has been awarded, ProjectConnect will not be involved in the process.

Component of Package
This is for suppliers supplier that it interested in providing components or sub-contract services to the successful full package tenderer.
Tick the box and give a brief description of the components or services you want to provide.
There will be no formal contact from the project until the package has been awarded.
At the completion of the tender phase, the successful tenderer will be listed on the system.
ProjectConnect will supply your profile to the successful tenderer and will alert you of the tender award.
You have to go to ProjectConnect to obtain the contact details for the successful tenderer. Get in contact with them and discuss any possible opportunities for your business.
Note that some successful tenderers will utilise ProjectConnect to list their opportunities. In those cases, please register your interest as appropriate on those packages.

I don´t see any packages for my business. How do I find the right opportunities?
Depending of your type of business, there may be no packages listed that directly relates to your activities. In that case you need to do two things:
- Identify which packages will require your services or products as a sub-contract service or component, and register for Component of Package. By registering, successful contractors will receive your profile and you will be alerted when the contact information for those contractors are available.
- Contact the successful contractors listed on ProjectConnect (for packages where you have registered interest or any other applicable package) to discuss any possible opportunities for your business.
Want to receive alert emails or perform easy searches?
ProjectConnect offers a subscription package (Business Search Package 1) that gives you access to an advanced search engine for project opportunities and package awards. Using this facility, you can:
- Quickly and easily find and register for opportunities right across ProjectConnect.
- Set up customised email alert searches that will send you package details on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis.
- Compile full contact detail lists of package awards.
To purchase Business Search Package 1, log into your account and go to Company Account - Purchase Subscriptions.
